Stand up, raise your hand or gesticulate wildly. I've recently decided to take it up properly, currently I have a Hohner Special 20 and I'm at the very very early stages of learning the instrument. So any tips for a Harp n00b.
I used to play a bit. I would say practice your hand shapes and bending by sucking harder. It can be used to make things sound more interesting. I think the first song I learnt was "amazing grace" it was pretty easy to work out from what I remember. Is that harmonica diatonic? I remember I played cross key harp. Common in blues I think. A good blues record is "Alabama Train" can't remember the artist, could be Louisiana Red.
