Looks very hilarious.

They dont really show anything relating to their self defence in the video though.

 

Is this a joke or serious?

It's like a bunch of Napoleon Dynamite clones started their own League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Edit: They said no police welcome - the same people they will run crying to for help when some thug slaps the taste out of their mouth.

 

I feel like any time you gravitate towards a martial art to articulate some sort of identity, you're setting yourself up for failure and bad martial arts.

 

Antifa run regular MMA and Thai Comps in greece due to the big fascist problem over there.

I think Peter Irving used to have something to do with it.

Whilst I dont always agree with their methods / protests, at least their doing something about evil men doing evil things.

Weird to see a video of the antifa comps of my city posted in MAP.
The people in the videos are actually pretty good too.

The percentage of people who are good at fighting thanks to contact sports has become pretty big.
The sad thing is that, to my knowledge, there aren't any proper self defence classes.
Classes where people can learn about the law, environmental awareness and de-escalation tactics, like the ones I have seen discussed here in MAP.
And it's not only about safety. This kind of classes promote some kind of common decency and a healthy approach to
violence that's really important.

 

This annoys me, ANTIFA are fast becoming the opposite side of the same coin the people they are fighting against.

Politics is spherical. You can go so far left that you can become right again.

Overton window just refers to the window of political ideas the public finds acceptable or that's my understanding.

 

Having met them irl yes it's an issue with ANTIFA just like with anonymous.

Anyone can claim to be anti fascist but what they really mean is anyone that I don't like is a Nazi so therefore I can punch them.

 

Are you saying nazis should never be punched? or that people are being mislabled nazis, or that antiFa is unnessasarily violent in everyday life/on counter protests?
