Another workout...

    this one's not as complicated as the last one, but it's harder, it's extremely hard, but worth it to get used to...














    ok, here we go...

    start off by by warming up and stretching, then do 10 repetitions of every kick you do, each leg...

    ok, now stretch again, real good...

    now hop on one leg for 1 mile... that's right, one mile... if you can't do it, do half a mile, try to at least push yourself to half, then do the same distance on the other leg... after that, stretch again... then run as fast as you can for 1 mile... after that, you're almost done... work all your kicks again, 10 reps each, and stretch...

    there...



    you're done...


    try it and tell me what you think, made my legs feel like carrots...

    That would put me in a wheelchair, the state my knees are in. A mile of one leg hopping?

    Noib, seriously. Hopping on one leg for a mile? Jeez. That is a) really hard b) asking for trouble on your knees c) silly looking. But hey, if it works it works!

    you can get new knees... this will strengthen your legs like crazy...











    remedy for the knees, don't do this every week... or past a dangerous point, if you feel your knees can't take it, stop... Dp it as often as you feel strong enough to do it...

    Isn't that basically like plyo on crack? :D

    Hmmmm... I just noticed that it's for 1 friggin mile! Thought it was for 100 meters. Maybe I should read more carefully next time... :eek: Skimming posts is BAD children! :D I value my knees, and they're messed up enough, so I think I'll stick to NORMAL plyos.

    When training you don't have to look cool it's just if I were to go and hop down the street on one foot chances are the police would come to make sure I wasn't on drugs. And wouldn't that be pretty damaging to your knees?

    You'd also get shin splints from hopping on the ball of your foot over such a long distance.

    Better workout: Stand on one foot. Hop up and touch your heel (of the foot you were standing on) to your butt and land back on the same foot. Do this 10 times without touching your other foot to the ground.

    It's a good workout for your calves and hamstrings.

    dude, I respect you being a MOD and all but you don't ever have anything but negative things to say in my threads, I'd really appreciate it if you weren't always so condescending, I'm not trying to incite people with every thread I make, so why must every responce be thus from you?

    I think I heard somewhere along the line that Yoda here is certified in health n' fitness what not (Certified What-Not Specialist :D). Even if I heard wrong, he's been around a while training and such, so, yeah I'd listen to 'im when it comes to advice or opinions of fitness routine schtuff ;)

    you don't agree with what I say, don't respond, it's simple... You have something constructive to say, I'm willing to listen, but it doesn't serve well to act like a child hurling insults over the internet.. Dispite all of the "bad" advice or information you feel I give, that doesn't justify disrespect...

    Well, he said in a way (wether taken insulting or not) that the routine is probably not a good one.

    Look, sorry, I'm not going to get (nor trying to) into an arguement if that is what it will come to.
