"Aliveness"-familiar with the consept?

    check out this video that I got a link to from one of the nicer dudes on bullshido.net. I think it is good and relevant for us WMA'ers. I really like the point at the end where he use chessplay as an example.

    -but I allso think that drilling in some basic thecnique before starting with aliveness is importaint; especially if you train some historical style with emphasis on trying to make the technique look like in the manuals. -or else the entire training will degenerate into some sort of MMA (Not that that is bad in itself, but if MMA is not what you're after, it could be a problem ;) )

    He isn't really saying anything new as far as I can see. I understand he's trying to explain it a different way, but at the end of the day up is up and down is down. I think the 99.9 per cent comment was a little arrogant and unresearched, but I know he was trying to prove a point.
