Not that I admit to watching the movie. But I thought he was great in Robin Hood as well. Shame. Didn't realize he was even that old.
Dang it, you open up MAP, not expecting anything bad - and then that RIP. Didn't even know he was sick.
Alan Rickman was an amazing actor who did a wide variety of interesting characters from Prof. Snape to the caterpillar. One of my favorites was a small film from 1991 called "Truly, Madly, Deeply". Give it a try if you've not seen it.
I was stoked for 2016 with the new Radiohead album and X-Files episodes but this is not starting well AT ALL
At least we don't have to worry about Christmas being cancelled anymore. R.I.P Alan. One of the most iconic villains in movie history.
He was a great actor and something about him made me think that he must be a kind person in real life. Daniel Radcliffe has only good things to say about him https://plus.google.com/+DanielRadcliffe/posts/SG1NZZvTKRt
Me too. I think of his character in "Sense and Sensibility," one of the few "girl" movies I very much enjoyed. He played a pure gentleman in that movie, and he played it so very well I wanted to hug him.
In the last year we've lost B.B King, Christopher Lee, David Bowie and now Alan Rickman. Culture is taking some massive hits.
And Lemmy! I watched Galaxy Quest today. I was going to do Potter but also remembered that Stan Winston was the SFX. That movie had a lot of talent behind it, should've done better than it did. Look at that cast list.. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0177789/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast
I was really sad when I heard of about Mr. Rickman's passing away. He'll always have a special place in my heart as Professor Snape. RIP Mr. Alan Rickman.
