Got a real nasty cramp yesterday while training BJJ. Whenever we train guard position lots, cramp in inevitable. Then the affected muscle is stiff for days after. I try stretching, heat, all kinds of potions, which help to a degree. Just wondering - anyone got any tips for prevention or recovery?
Can't give that up, G! It's better than TV! It doesn't happen every class, but when I'm working to pass guard and really working the feet one of them just goes vrooop... splayed out like a cartoon foot with toes going every which way. Quite painful! Can someone sing me the Banana Boot Song? "Day-0!"
Seriously, (this is on another thread somewhere, cos i posted on that) Wear summat made of haematite...a ring, or a piece in your pocket. I give one to students who get cramp and they say it helps.
