Hey, I'm interested in getting into boxing, and I'm aware of the possibility of me getting my nose broken. I'm not worried about the cosmetic effect of a broken nose, but I have read that a broken nose can result in a loss of sense of smell. Of the people here who have had their nose broken, how many of you lost any of your sense of smell, and were you able to regain your sense of smell?
i broke my nose why wrestling with my friend....he ran headfirst into my nose n broke it....its alright now.....i guess i can smell just fine..iunno there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with my sense of smell.....
Have had a few friends with broken noses, hard to tell for sure but I dont think they lost their sense of smell.
