72 year old boxer takes down knife-wielding burglar

Mr Corti said he did not take a great deal of pleasure in punching the burglar, so long as he got a little it's all good. Imagine the 24 year old burglar in the pokey when word gets round that even armed he got beaten up by a 5ft5in pensioner.

I think there might be two. The obvious one is off centre and the other one might be where he has been chewing his lip. Can't really make it out

B..bu...but sporting martial arts don't work in real violent encounters do they?
Surely he should have gouged the mans eyes out and eagle clawed his larynx?
I, for one, refuse to believe that a common or garden right hand punch in the face can be effective for self defence.

 

I think many people, including many martial artists, underestimate the power of a really good punch done by someone who trains in an art such as boxing. They're so bloody accurate as well.

What a disgrace, a victim being able to protect himself and not be done for for breaching the criminals human rights!!! what country do we live in where a piece of human scum cant happily go about there daily lifes destroying human lifes without fear of being attacked or having there human rights abused, this poor,poor criminal. WHERE THE HELL IS LIBERTY? I THOUGHT THEY LIVED FOR MAKING THE CRIMIANL MORE IMPORATNT THAN THE VICTIM????

 

Ha ha! Yeah, that's one reason I liked this story so much. He smashed the little punk's face up and the police came down on his side.
