Is the best movie ever made(if you aren't looking for a deep storyline). The battle scenes are light years better than the greatest war movies ever made. The whole movie is just...epic... I'd right a full review but it's too late. Be careful though if you are going to take your kids to see it. Aside from being insanely brutal and gory there is a scene in the movie that is practically soft-core porn. Did I mention the battle scenes?? I can't wait to see this movie at the Imax...
i can't wait to see this as well. but i've read the comics it's based on, so know what happens. and if it's anything like the comic it will be awsome!
I have never been so pumped up for a movie before. I have been waiting for literally a year, putting up with Leonidas quotes from my mates every day! BRING ON THE PAIN!
Easily the best movie I've seen all year, by far, and then some. Eragon and Epic Movie were so bad, I thought I would never again enjoy a movie! But then this one came along and redeemed them all. But I have to say it was the manliest movie I have seen in my entire life. 30 minutes of full frontal nudity followed by 2 hours of heated combat. I put on 10 pounds of muscle and hair during the opening credits! My friends and I left the theater twice the men we were before, then ate some red meat. It took at least an hour for the testosterone to cool. Indeed a fantastic night.
Aii. Watching manly movies, is like mainlining testosterone directly into your blood. I'll probably get gyno **** from watching it, since my testosterone is already peaking from abstenence....
The guys at my dojo are going to watch it together. I think they're voting to ban me from coming due to my girl-factor :woo: I can't believe how excited men can get over a movie.
Its not A movie, its THE movie. Your lack of interllect in discerning that, is probably the reason you werent invited, not your gender .
Spelling is for people that have the time. I'm too busy pondering things you wouldnt understand . Think its R rated. Considering the brutal battle scenes and Leonida's HOT wife.
I am excited because the guy who plays Leonidus is a Scot from my home town Glasgow ,in fact from the same area. He gets to use all the cool lines like Come and take them when the persians demand their weapons also tonight we dine in hell (all in a broad Glasgow accent) He could have used another favourite of mine. When faced by unsurmountable odds a soldier says we can't hope to beat them. The Scott beside him grins and says we don't have to beat them but we DO HAVE to fight them. Isn't that cool!!! regards koyo
Gee, I wonder why guys love this film... -it contains the men they hope to look like -the women they wanna bang -lots of blood and gore -all action and no drama -I'm doubting there is a "chick flick" moment to be found anywhere in the film. Me, I'll go see it next weekend for the artistic value
