I couldn't resist but to ask this question: Would it be possible to achieve such a body, without crossfit training, at the gym with weights, cardio, and martial arts training?
He means not by cross fit training, but by using weights, cardio and MA. Yes it is very possible using weight training... and some make up
I understand that those actors don't look all that ripped out without the special fx and cg. My question was more oriented towards training for useful strenght, rather than bodybuilding. I appreciate the usefull response to this topic.
All osmosis does it make you retain water to the point of Isotonicness I imagine its possible to get a 300 level spartan warrior body, afterall they worked out to get it? Or did they not?
Cross Training - Cross training also known as conditioning refers to training in different ways to improve overall performance. It takes advantage of the particular effectiveness of each training method, while at the same time attempting to neglect the shortcomings of that method by combining it with other methods that address its weaknesses. (As said by Wiki) 1.) Weights 2.) Cardio 3.) Martial Arts Training So you want to do this without cross training by . . . cross training? Or am I just reading this wrong?
Crossfit training is what he was referring to. Which is high volume endurance stuff usually mixed in with some strength work. www.crossfit.com
I understand that those actors don't look all that ripped out without the special fx and cg Mate, there was no visual effects used to make those actors looked "ripped". Make up, yes, VFX/CG...no.
Back to original poster Yes of course it is. Crossfit however is a not bad way to get that look, PROVIDED you've got reasonable muscles to start with and you are meticulous with your diet. Before you ask, I don't and I am not.
