!!! He's not dead, he's slipped the radar and skinned us all! lol But yeah, your thinking the right one
I'm always amazed at how many people look up to an admittedly gun-toting angry thuggish man whose own antics got him killed. It's okay to like his music, but it's kind of disturbing that people look to him as a source of inspiration when his greatest positive contribution may have actually been in death. (For the record, I think he was quite talented and wasted all that talent on foolish pursuits)
Garbage. There are tons of amazing rappers out right now. Tupac and Biggie are the only decent ones who are dead, maybe Big L but I'm not a big fan.
Right buddy I could not find the version you want again so I have extracted the audio from that Tyson video file. I have also cut the comentary of the start unless you want it and I have converted it to wav. I tried sending it zipped via yahoo and hotmail with no luck. So I have sent it again using usendit. Let me know if you get it. Hope you do and enjoy.
Life goes on. Until the end of time. Keep ur head up. I prefer biggie, but my favorite rapper has got to be Immortal Technique.
Of course. Because you can't understand the plight of people who grew up around violence, and can't escape it. If you listened to his music, you would see the resignation, the surrender to it. You could maybe see how it consumes a person. Or something.
Hear hear. In one Tupac song I hear "haha, %$"^ the police" and in another "a cop kills a nigger he's a hero". Well tupac, what do you expect with such double standards? Scarlet, don't tell me someone as rich as Tupac was before his death could not escape violence. People like Eminem, Snoop etc manage it well enough, they rap about being gangsters while sitting in their million dollar homes.
Tupac was not actually rich before his death. He was comfortable, but by no means rich. And in Pac's death was a result of a gang war.
Why was he in a gang in the first place? I know a couple of people who spent their childhood in very dodgy areas, strangely they couldn't wait to get out.
