man I've come to hate YouTube... I can never get anything to play smoothly on it. Yes maybe snail races or morning dew drops shining in the sun... but any violence or fast moving action and the sound just goes totally out of sync with the choppy ass vid. So what is the deal with Bellator. I've been off the MMA vid diet for a while... who's running this promotion and what does their fight roster look like? Anyone?
Semi-local, mostly young guns, playing to the Hispanic demographic. They've got some guys like Dave Menne, Wilson Reis, and Eddie Alvarez. They've recently done some women's matches, with Brandon Vera's wife Kerry making her debut at the last one. They seem to feature some lighter-weight fighters, a little like WEC.
There have been some good fights and yes, they seem to be giving women a chance. Rosi Sexton was meant to be fighting a few months ago but her opponent pulled out at the last minute with injury.
