Blimey there's a lot of rockers on MAP. Who'd have thunk it?
I also thinks it's hilarious when people suggest multiple albums from the same band. Out of all of the music in the world the top 10 albums they can think of come from about 4-5 bands?

Just registered to get Led Zep tickets at the O2 arena...damn I hope I get some.

  10. In no particular order....

    1. Black Sabbath - Paranoid.
    2. Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast.
    3. Metallica - Master of Puppets.
    4. The Beatles - Rubber Soul.
    5. Nirvana - Nevermind.
    6. Led Zepellin - Led Zepellin.
    7. Joni Mitchell - Blue.
    8. Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde.
    9. Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon.
    10. Electric Ladyland - The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Are people finding that their top 10 suggestions are not necessarily what they are listening to right now?

Haha...I wouldn't put it quite like that but I was kinda thinking the same thing. :)
Do people not worry that they basically only like one type of music?
    I've never understood that.

  20. Gajah Silat

    Gajah Silat Ayo berantam!

LOL, c'mon TG let's have your choice ;)

We have some classic stuff just in the last few posts

    Tool
    Audioslave
    Primus
    Nick Drake
    NIN
    Nick Cave
    Zep
    Maiden
    Sabbath
    Pixies
    SOAD
    John Martyn
    Jesus and Mary Chain
    Tindersticks
    Levellers
And even Hawkwind and many more....

I simply could not choose only 10 albums....30 maybe, and certainly some of the above would be included.

What suprises me is the amount of good taste most posters have.

reading back through the thread I get inspired by many choices and think "great choice, I haven't listened to that one for a while"
