Hi Jason, It's been about 3-4 years since I trained/taught at Chen Wu Kuan club, so my experience is based on how the club was then. There is a lot of time spent on forms and drills and much opportunity to compete in WuShu if you wish to go that path. There are more traditional drills and forms based around the WuZuQuan (5 Ancestors fist) style also, and occasional sparring and optional choice of competing in light contact competitions. The majority of the club was late teen early 20s. I always advise people try all different clubs they can to see what they like before committing too much to one club, most clubs (and I believe Chen wu kuan still do) will do at least 1 free lesson as a trial.
