      I am from BC Canada, west coast. I teach Isshin Ryu Karate for the last 20 years at the Abbotsford Isshin Ryu Karate club where I am head instructor and owner. I am retired from the Correctional services Canada after 27 years. I received Shodan in 1983 and have continued on from there todate, my last grading was May of 2010 ( you figure it out) I am also ranked in Ryu Kyu Kobudo out of Okinawa. I am experienced but not ranked in Ju Jitsu, ( Brazilian and Japanese) Aikido, Kung Fu, Hindiandi Gung Fu, Old Okinawa TE, Kickboxing, Tai chi, Escrima, several styles of Karate. I spent a few years on IERT teams as arrest and control officer ( grabem and cuffem guy)

      My sensei did a medical experiment on Sanchin kata and its effects on the body. I and two others took part in this... check it out. It was 10 years ago.. I was turning 50 at the time. The other two are younger than I am.

    began training in Isshin ryu in 1981, trained 6 years in Ryu Kyu Kobudo, also in aikido, ju jitsu, arnis, hindiandi gung fu, shaolin fist way kung fu, Tai chi, kickboxing, Koru Uchinada, sheesh.. suffice to say im old and trained a long time lol lol
