Hello, I was googling around for FMA in Canberra and came across your post. Is Rey Galang teaching FMA in canberra or do you know anyone else who is teaching it? Thanks in advance for any help
Hi Midnight I am certain that Master Rey will contact you very soon. I do know that he has just started a new job, which may explain a slight delay. There is no problem with beginners or strangers contacting him, especially as you have mentioned that I gave you the details. Yes, as you have correctly guessed, I am a proud member of Bakbakan International and represent the organisation in the UK / Europe. Let me know if you don't hear from Master Rey within the next week and I'll drop him a line. He does check his emails fairly regularly, so should be in touch with you quite soon. Feel free to stay in touch and ask any questions about the FMA that come to mind. Regards Peter
Hi Midnight My pleasure. Bakbakan International was established in 1968 by Master's Christopher 'Topher' Ricketts and Rey Galang among others. The organisation mainly promotes the Kali Ilustrisimo system of the late and revered Grandmaster Antonio 'Tatang' Ilustrisimo. Each senior student of Tatang has his own interpretation of the art. Master Topher calls it Kali Ilustrisimo and Master Rey promotes Bakbakan kali Ilustrisimo. Whichever blend of the mother art, they are all highly effective and respected for combat and tournament effectiveness. Feel free to ask me any questions that you may have Good luck Peter
Hi MidnightDog Master Rey Galang of Bakbakan International is based in the Canberra area. You could contact him via email: Arjee@aol.com If he's moved, I'm sure he can guide you in the right direction for good quality FMA. Tell him that I gave you the contact details. Good luck Peter
