This weekend I discovered that Netflix has "Green Arrow" season 5. I didn't look up when it actually aired, but that doesn't really matter to me, anyway. I watched the first two episodes. In this season he's killing people again (whoa!!) so this could be interesting.

Just watching GLOW: Glorious Ladies Of Wrestling.
Dramatised /comedy of the company of Pro-Wrestling women in the 80's. So expect big hair and pastel hues.. Allison Brie (Community) is the lead and so far it's kinda fun. The moves are really cringeworthy and awkward, which is exactly what it's supposed to do. Also surprisingly very adult jokes.

I'm a fan of Agents of SHIELD so watched the end of series 4 last night. Nice little link-in with Doctor Strange near the end (MCU links have been lacking this series) so it could be start of setting up Infinity War, as AoS did with Winter Soldier.

I've also been watching Genius on National Geographic about Albert Einstein and starring Geoffrey Rush. Only the final episode to watch but it's been a canny series and shows how, while Einstein was a scientific genius, he was certainly a flawed human. It also goes into his contemporaries like Fritz Haber (ammonia creator and chemical weapons innovator) and Phillipp Lenard, physicist and member of the Nazi party. Quite an interesting one for those who like their science.

Season 2 of Preacher which I'd somehow missed was back on.

Only just realised that Season 8 of Archer was on Netflix, so I'm busy binging on that. Binging? Bingeing? One of them...

I watched the first 4 episodes of American Gods. While well made I found the first 3 episodes a bit disorientating. The injection of a more solid narrative in the fourth episode was a big improvement.

At first I wasn't too keen on iZombie, as it's a huge departure from the comic book, but, it's since grown on me. I think I only have the season finale of the last season to watch. I binged through the lot in about a week or so.

I love iZombie. I never read the comic, but am aware its nothing like it. The show is actually closer to "Chew". I detective that eats a body part (of anything, humans, animals) and will have all of it's memories.

Half way through "Arrow" season 5, and really enjoying it.

Season 1 was cool because Oliver was a killer, and then #2 was cool because he was intentionally not killing anyone. I loved the contrast. And then seasons #3 and #4 got so goofy that I almost gave up. But season 5 -- wow! The script writers have gone to school and learned how to write a story! I'm very much enjoying the inner struggle Oliver is going through. Has he made any positive difference? This not-killing-people thing hasn't been working very well if you measure it by "are the criminals still here?" Everything and every person he touches turns to crap and dies, so what's he even doing? :applause: Brilliant writing! :D

And then -- Is Felicity going bad? She seems to have her own inner doubts about whether or not going straight has been a good thing. She's on the road to becoming a criminal hacktivist again! :applause: :D

And we're getting so much of the backstory now, that I want to re-watch season 1, because I think it will be better now that I know he became Bratva, and how he met the League of Assassins.

UK Netflix has the Hong Kong series "Legend of Bruce Lee" up and running. Downloadable too.

Its played by the guy who was the Goalie in Shaolin Soccer and also as actually BL in the hot mess that was , Ip Man 3. (They CGI his face to make him look a bit more like Brucie)
