I had been waiting about 2yrs for that game to come out. I was intending to hold off buying though until reviews surfaced as I was worried it would be an empty experience that couldn't match the hype... So glad I held off. Very disappointing.

I watched the review of Angry Joe for the game, because it seemed such a good idea and all, but I heard a lot of bad things.

And he essentially said the same as you, which really is a shame!

Awesome!! I have been waiting for Bannerlord for some time its been mentioned that its going to hit consoles as well. I will be first in the queue for this, I have been messing with Skyrim on Xbox 1 most of today and hope that with its inclusion of community mods they will do this for Bannerlord as this made Mount and Blade on the PC.

Also waiting for this on Xbox 1/PC looks amazing, My wife is going to hate it... :) Check out on youtube the amount of attention they have put into the armoured combat system...

Just dabbled in elderscrolls online as its free on pan at the moment. Played as a high elf, dragon knight (sorry Hannibal)... Hated it. I don't really get online multiplayer it just feels like a big fake playground. Plus it all looks and feels like oblivion (or older) and the menus and interfaces are utterly disgusting to look at and navigate.

Looks like I'll be waiting for KC: deliverance to get my broadsword fix.

Just downloading Mad Max. Looks promising.

Never got into Mad Max but looked pretty decent. Started playing Metro Redux and Assassin's Creed Syndicate just to get a break from The Witcher 3 which is becoming more of a time vortex than Skyrim ever was.

Metro Redux is only a fiver at the moment in the store and is an awesome reboot and covers both games in the series.

Assassins Creed Syndicate. Breath taking living industrial age London and interesting personalities in the twin assassins. Loving this game and best I have played since Black Flag.

Personally can't wait for Kingdom Come....Waiting to preorder this.

After it took ages to decide whether or not to play "The Last of Us" on Ps4 again as well (and go for the 100% trophy-wise) I started it up a few days ago.

My main problem was the MP, because I just hated it on Ps3.

But - I started it anyway.
And I am nearly ashamed to admit, that I'm sort of enjoying it now
At least as long the other players play as actual teams; they hardly did that on my Ps3-time, which had me rather annoyed.

I haven't started the campaign again yet, but totally am looking forward to that.
But since I only borrowed the game at the moment, I want to get the MP out of the way first.
And since I'd buy the UK-version of the game for myself at some point, the SP-saves probably wouldn't work anyway.

Do you have a comparison to the Ps3 one?
I heard they spiked up the difficulty.

I finished "The Last of Us" 100% yesterday.
So right no I'm back to a bit of "Resident Evil 5", should be doing some "Resident Evil 1" or "Tomb Raider" - and probably end up playing "Lego Star Wars" or trying the "Uncharted 4" co-op :D

    Shame, but thanks for answering!

I can borrow it, so I don't have to pay money, so I might just try it anyway :D

Restarted Oblivion. Going back to it after 150 hours of Skyrim I now know I wasn't imagining it, Oblivion is a better RPG.

Me too on the PC using nexus mod manager. So many mods for this game ( I played before on the 360) to improve the graphics, add new quests and animations.

Started sneaking my PC into work on night shifts when it has been slow over the Xmas period. Hey its a living....

I've got NMM but I don't find the site especially friendly. Do you have links to up to date lists of recommended mods?

Only the mods I use, I am still experimenting with the available mods at the moment but the added content is staggering.

First things to download would be the official and unofficial patches and OBSE which adds extra script/animations for some mods like deadly reflex which is an complete overhaul of the combat system.

If you google Nexus Oblivion top mods they have an essential list.

I admit I had to grin right now: Watching the X-Files, episode "Firewalker", where this biological agent sprouts out of people and shoots its spores everywhere.
    Scully saying: "She was infected"
And all I could think was: The Last of Us!
    :D

I finished the Resident Evil 5 main game on Ps4 as well now.
It was just as fun as on Ps3, I threw the same fits on Ndesu on Professional as I did on Ps3 :D

Still have the DLC to do.

Not sure what to start next; if someone from a gaming chat needs help with Alien Breed: Impact it might be that.
Otherwise I might finally continue Dragon Age.
Yes, the first. Still haven't finished that.

I think, I might do that either way actually.

Still not sure whether or not to pre-order "Horizon Zero Dawn"...

Got myself a Nintendo Switch last week and with it 'The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' and it is glorious. I dare say it is THE best Zelda game EVER, and I've been a fan of the series ever since I forked over £50 for 'The Legends of Zelda' for the NES in all it's shiny gold goodness.

The game is vast, there's the familiar 'Zelda' type quests and all manner of in-jokes and nods that fans will appreciate.

Ghost Recon Wildlands on PS4. The environment is gorgeous to look at, and the gameplay (storyline, side missions, combat mechanics etc) is very similar to The Division. It's at least filling the void until Mass Effect Andromeda in 2 weeks!
