Ah that's better, I thought being smashed in the nuts wasn't an issue for you! After all it is MAP and I'm sure finding a student of iron crotch techniques wouldn't be too hard.

I got a 20kg vest recently. Taken it down to 12kg to start.

I'm using it for hill sprints, and increasing the weight as I lose weight.
I plan to use them for the ab wheel also and skipping.

I think the key with weighted backpack or vest is to build it up very slowly and listen carefully to your body, which is usually what i don't do- get excited and see how much i can load up with :D

We've got one at the gym I use at work that has adjustable weights.
I've been stuck at about 8 strict form chin/pull-ups for over a year (=/-2).
This thread is a good memo to start doing a gradual increase with the vest. I bet if I can hit 8 reps with 25kg on the vest I'll pull more with bodyweight.
I've also considered doing the same with pushup's to improve strength rather than massive out the reps.
I have enough issues with knee's and hips without adding them into the mix when sprinting and what not.
Most of my cardio at the moment is swimming. I certainly think adding the vest there would be interesting!

Edit: Have also done the weight belt nut smash on dips...It's not something I'd just try and get used to, ouch!
