Here is somthing that the Chinese Traditional Healing will suggest at time for infection Notoginseng(or Yunnam Paiyao) and Chrysanthimum.

Chrysanthemum is used as a drink you make a tea of it. They use Yellow flower.

This sounds price but here not meant as a way to sale you. So you see what it looks like.

Those are the positive thing here is what can happen if over used.

The thing is you could use that Tumeric as the external toping if you do it is likened to this, you put it on the spot where the infection comes out. Not sure if you have to injest some before puting the Tumeric on the exit spot.

Notoginseng is not used for infection. It is a blood regulator, a cardiotonic. It lowers the body's thrombin rate. It stops bleeding, dissolves blood clots, and its the chief herb in Yunnan Baiyao (which promotes circulation)...But there is no reference to its use for infection in the Materia Medica, nor either of the sources cited below.

The article above speaks specifically of treating "diseases of the blood"--not infection--and goes on to define this as "blood stasis, bleeding, and blood deficiency"...Although, according to the Materia Medica, the last part about blood deficiency is somewhat debatable...

In any case, be careful about using this herb if there is no sign of blood stagnation, ie injury, internal or external bleeding, etc. Do not use it to treat staph. Go see a doctor.

Staph infection is a big problem of late because of weak immune systems.

Don't delay, see a doctor and do it for your sake, soon.

If you are into Chinese medicine fine, but do something besides ask this board.

Yes mega-dosing Vitamin C is about the best you can do naturally. Just make sure its a buffered version such as sodium ascorbate when using high doses.

On the contrary ive been using ozonated water from my own medical grade ozonator and after what 10 kinds of anti-biotics couldnt do my staph infection in my tonsils is just about gone and tonsils are looking more and more normal. This works as most bacteria, viruses, fungi are anaerobic and oxygen is aerobic.

Turmeric is excellent for a number of things, as I think has been mentioned the active ingredient of turmeric is curcumin. You can purchase curcumin capsules which contain 99% curcumin.

Turmeric is good for an upset stomach (I have used it for this and its really good)
    It is antibacterial/antiseptic
    It is anti fungal
Research has shown that it inhibits cancer in the lab
It is a strong anti inflammatory and can be used for injury in Martial arts by rubbing it into the skin (it is a key ingredient in such liniments used in Indonesia)
In traditional Indian medicine it is thought to purify the blood.
Fore guys that are experiencing hair loss and wanting to slow it down, ingesting curcumin will help.

Go to a doctor. Vitamin mega dosing and so on will do nothing to a staph infection. Tumeric may help but as everyone else here has said, even if you decide to use tumeric go and visit a doctor as well. Doctors are not magicians so the fact that you went once already and the treatment reappeared does not mean that therefore going to see a doctor again is pointless. Single treatments don't always cure a staph infection and it is possible that you were misdiagnosed. Staph infections can get very ugly if not treated properly.

Wish I could tell you man. I take 2 grams of curcumin as well as about 10 g's of MSM (pure granules) a day for back and shoulder problems. It does have the anti-inflammatory effect, but as far as infection goes, I don't know if I would trust it over a good antibiotic. That's just me though.

It sounds like the infection is reacting to the treatment, but it is reoccurring. What does your doctor say?

When you say you've been through 4 courses, do you mean you've had three cycles of symptoms - treatment - symptoms reoccur weeks later - treatment - systems reoccur...? Or have you done 4 courses of antibiotics one immediately after the other?
