As I'm in Star Wars mood at the moment, can any of you gaming types tell me which Star Wars games are worth buying. I have a PC and a Wii. I was thinking of getting this compilation: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-B...=1451317969&sr=1-1&keywords=star+wars+best+of
Jedi Outcast Jedi Academy Star Wars Republic Commando All old enough to be cheap and run on pretty much any system but very good games.
I'm not very demanding in my gaming requirements. I still think Tie Fighter is one of my favourite games of all times!
Cheers folks! I'm pretty rubbish at computer games, but I go through phases when I want to play them, and that's where I'm heading. One of the best leaving presents I got from a previous job was my WII Clone Wars and 2 lightsabres - my colleagues knew me well!
Just googled 'GoG'. :wow: I may have to quit my job. These are the sort of games I love, more so than a lot of the newer shinier one! I also need to get a new PC and joystick!
Star Wars Rebellion was a really fun 4x game that was ahead of its time. People complain about the clunky interface, but I've definitely sunk too many hours into that game. X wing Alliance was standout and awesome, so was Star Wars Battlefront.
X-Wing Alliance was phenomenal and I wish the current gen Battlefront had half the content the original Battlefront games had. Also Dark Forces Jedi Knight multiplayer. To this day there hasn't been a game that's pulled off lightsaber duels as well as that did.
Currently looking at joystick reviews. I do love me a good flight sim game. I may need to rethink the plan to get a new laptop/tablet and actually spring for a good gaming PC.
One thing to note for Jedi Outcast - the levels before you get the lightsaber are miserable. After that you're an angry, vengeful god of war though, so it's all worth it.
I personally totally fell in love with both "Knights of the Old Republic" and "The Force Unleashed". The first game of he latter I though incredibly awesome, the second is still fun but was a bit of a let down compared to the second game. Others are fun too, but I tend to go back to those nearly regularly.
Stick with the PC versions. The WII version of Dark Forces was abysmal. Completely unplayable experience. PC version rocked!
The Force Unleashed is a quality game. Good story and part of the expanded universe. TIE fighter is still an insanely good game. Really wish I could get it running on my newer computer. Rouge Squadron was on Game cube and it was amazing too. Incredibly difficult though.
Knights of the Old Republic 2, and The Force Unleashed if you want to live out your Jedi/Sith fantasy running through hordes of enemies with a lightsaber and awesome force powers.
I'm baffled as to why they haven't done a good open world Star Wars game yet. I was never really interested in a Jedi based RPG, I want to be a struggling smuggler, modifying an aging freighter and getting into blaster fights with thugs, saving up my credits until I can afford and outfit a small corvette.
Grand Theft Star Wars? Edit: Damn, I should have saved that tag line for a game treatment submission...
