    Just to be awkward:

I always pronounce if "Muc", though most people I know pronounce it "Mac".

Unless I'm kevving it up, in which case it's "Maccy D's".

And it's roof. Never ruff. Ruff is what you have when you don't shave properly.

    Or you're a golfer.

For me it's roof, but living here in the southern part of the U.S., I've heard 'ruff' on many occasions.

I know this isn't quite right, as you explicitly requested video (and, hey, I might actually be curious in a month about doing it when I get back from my research trip--I should actually have a decent camera by then), but I just thought I'd answer some of these in print...

1.) What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
    TPing

2.)What is the small beetle-like bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
    Roly-Poly

3.) What do you call bubbly carbonated drinks like Sprite or Pepsi?
I call it pop (or just refer to the particular brand name, though here in Texas it's commonly called 'soda')

4.) What do you call gym shoes or generally informal shoes worn for athletic activities?
    Sneakers

5.) What word do you use in casual speech to address a group of two or more people? For example, "you", "you all", "yall", etc.
I used to say 'you guys'--still do from time to time--but have lived in Texas so long that I do say the occasional 'you all' or 'y'all'.

6.) What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
    Daddy Long Legs

7.) What do you call your grandparents?
    Granddad and Grandma

8.) What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
    Cart

9.) What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
Rain or sunshower, though as kid, my relatives in the south called it 'the devil beating his wife'.

10.) What is the thing you change the TV channel with?
    The remote.

11.) What do you call the gooey or dry matter that collects in the corners of your eyes, especially while you are sleeping?
Mucus. To be honest, I've never had a name by which I really refer to this--I don't really talk about that stuff, but mucus is the first thing that came to mind when reading the question. I've heard plenty of names from other people, the strangest one from my wife, who says that her mother calls that stuff crackers.

12.) What is your preferred general and casual term for a sale of your unwanted items (which may be held on your porch, in your yard, garden, or house, from the back of your car, etc.)?

Garage sale as a kid, though somewhere along the line I unconsciously switched to calling them yard sales.

13.) What’s it called when you have to wait single-file with a group of people?
A line. What is this queue thing that you Brits speak of?;)

14.) What do you call an upholstered seat for more than one person?
I tend to call it sofa, though couch and sofa seem to be equally popular where I live.

15.) What do you call a room equipped with toilets and lavatories for public use?
    Bathroom.

16.) What do you call an artificial nipple, usually made of plastic, which an infant can suck or chew on?
    Pacifier.

17.) What do you say when you don't quite hear someone and want them to repeat what they just said?
I actually say 'Say again'. I just realized that this makes me sound like some character from a film in the forties.

Oh, and I was born and spent my early childhood in Detroit, Michigan, though I have spent most of my life in the southern U.S.

I've no idea what they're called. I've known them as bugs that (supposedly) eat mosquitoes (I was told that in my youth about green lacewings, too. I'm not sure how true any of that actually was).

In scotland we call pop/soda ginger. This happens because one of our greatest exports Irn Bru is ginger in colour therefore all pop/soda is called ginger. Kind of like all vaccum cleaners are called hoovers here and razors in China called remington.

EDIT: Never mind, software isn't working on my laptop.

Also, your voice reminds me of my childhood and motorways. We were forced to listen to The Archers :)bang:) over and over again whenever we went to go see aunts and uncles, which was normally around 4 times a year. You have the same accent and type of voice as most the voice actors used. :p

Missed this earlier. I believe only in the states would a micnugget be called a macnugget. McDonalds (mic) MacDonalds (Mac). In Scotland we call a Mcnugget a Mic Nugget (as should be) but we call the burger the Big Mac.

You guys have actually got it wrong but at the same time created a unique vernacular for Mc and Mac for example in the Movie coming to America. The Mcdonald restaurants call their tasty burger the Big Mac (McDonalds) where as the MacDonalds family call their burger the Big Mic (MacDonalds). "they have the big Mac and we have the big Mic" in actualy fact if you reversed that the Mic and Mac for the restaurants the pronunciation and dialect would be true but as it is, it's false.

America has actually created a vernacular of a wrongly pronounced Scottish name (McDonald) that Scots actually pronounce wrongly as a result of capitalism lol as does the rest of the world.
