This was doing the rounds again recently on facebook, and I'd just thought I'd share, not as a style vs style thing, but as an example of how important it is to know stand-up striking, clinch and groundwork, even if nogi, wrestling or striking isn't your cup of tea, if your in it for the long term, it's essential to have some ability in all 3 ranges.
Lol. Yeah I saw that on FB too. I'm doubting that guy's 10yrs KF though, no instincts coming out at all. Hunched back, poor footwork. No stance. What KF was it?
Drunken monkey? The go to for bad posture etc, its all a distraction device! (i know its not, im joking)
The Simon hayes one? He's got some great old school storys, ill I'll have to give it a listen too, his thread on efn was legendary.
Todd Fox Security, Fighting, Military and Charity Todd's website, looks like he's a rickson guy! I've seen an interview online with him which had more info about the KF guy, if memory is correct, he was a friend of his. I can't seem to find it now, I'll look again tomorrow!
The JJ guy is a better striker than the KF guy! By the looks of it he would probably own him on a striking only ruleset.
