Well i know the last time i brought this up it ended with my being banned for 3 day's for no reason. Literally when i went on i was banned and there wasn't a reason given as to why i was banned. But i shall try and start this discussion in the appropriate forum. So with out further rambling a shall submit my idea for a Christian based martial art for your critique.

The art is called "Kami, no ken, sutairu" which is Japanese for Divine Sword Style. I called it this because it is my firm belief that when i asked god for the power to protect myself and other's he gave me the mean's to do so by imbuing the holy spirit within me with the knowledge of this sacred style of fighting. This style take's concept's from European Long Swordsmanship and through everyday practice, meditation and biblical reading one can attune there mind body and soul into one coheasive fighting unit who then become's attuned with the holy spirit to become an unparalleled weapon of righteousness.

I will gladly answer any question's you might have.

    Mangosteen Hold strong not

Kami is the japanese term for spirits/gods which they worship in their paganistic religion - Shinto

Why not just do a european sword style and follow the disciplinary elements that come from christianity?

Can you spar a HEMA student and post video footage?

Do you have any videos of your style in action or any written treatises on how to apply your sword skills against an opponent?

Actually the style is European based. The name is Japanese because i didn't like the proper name in English.

I have some. I know how to use a rapier and have basic training in how to use a Great sword. I'm currently teaching myself how to use a long sword based on manual's off of the internet and with some divine inspiration.

You think the Christian God, by which I mean Jesus, the dude who chastised his best friend for attacking a soldier (with a sword) who had come to arrest him and have him put to death on false charges, imbued you with the knowledge to create a sword based martial art?

You God is rolling on his cloud laughing his halo off right now.

It's basically what you're claiming to be teaching, only it's taught by people who have spent years studying the treatises of old sword masters who were genuine experts at duelling and or battle techniques.

With regard to the lack of videos and written material, you don't really have anything to offer at all at the moment, so promoting your art is a lost cause.
