    Any fans here?

Which Mods do you play if any?

Do you buy their DLC/Mini Expansions or do you wait for their gold edition/collection editions?

    Typically i play the following:

Medieval 2's Stainless Steel and Europa Barbarorum II (Play as Greek Macedonians, Baktrians and Romans)

Darth Mod's Empire Total War (Play as British)

Rome 2 Total war: (I play mods of this, don't recall their names right now,
    Historical/realism is important to me)

Rome total war: Invasio Barbarorum, Europa Barbarorum , RTR etc

Played the original back when i was a kid- then got medieval total war 2 vanilla version a few years back, which is sadly not running on my pc atm followed by shogun 2, which was nice because it payed homage to the original, plus its fun to play, but it takes a lot of juice to run, seen some footage of it on more powerful pcs and it looks awesome though. I was actually wondering if there were any other titles in the series you'd recommend getting.

I've got the darth mod on Rome total war which seems to improve things like AI and that. I got the game of thrones mod for medieval 2 which I really enjoyed but I really hate the mechanics in that game compared to Rome, I can't seem to stay interested. Can't even get into shogun or empire either :(

Not sure what you mean by original since I only got into total war about 3 years ago but if you haven't played Rome (the first one) I definitely recommend that! It's definitely the best game I've ever played (except gta and red dead). I've sunk about 300 hours into it which doesn't seem like much but I always go back to it!
