Aikido Belts

    After seeing this thread, I thought I'd make some Aikido belts for those that may want them.

    6th kyu (rokkyu)
    &
    5th kyu (gokyu)

    4th kyu (yonkyu)
    &
    3rd kyu (sankyu)

    2nd kyu (nikyu)
    &
    1st kyu (ikkyu)

    1st dan (shodan) & up

    Excellent mate however, some schools of aikido also use the following colours

    Yellow, Orange, Green, and red (for ungraded students)

    In my club we don't have belts, only a white belt and later a hakama.

    Wow thread necromancy, Dave Humm was still here...

    We have white and black at my Aikido school. Usually the blackbelts wear a hakama, but, sometimes they do not.

    We have white, blue, brown, and then black belts.

    White and black. I usually buy the black belt for them. Not too many achieve it.

    No colour belts where I train only white then black

    We do white, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black. I like color! :D

    EDIT: Should clarify that yellow, green, blue, purple and brown each have two levels.
