Glad Jessica Eye won. It was a hard fought win, she showed her under rated grappling. She still has a future in the UFC now that she can fight at her natural weight. Congrats to Jessica Rose Clark for the win over Paige Van Zant. She derailed the hype train. Id love to see Jessica vs Jessica soon.
I don't watch UFC often, but I did catch Fight Night 124 on Sunday. Not to take anything away from Clark's amazing win, but I must point out that Paige Van Zant kept fighting after fracturing her arm in the second round. Congrats to Jessica Rose Clark, but Van Zant still deserves a lot of respect.
Jessica Rose was going through a rough time outside the cage don't forget. Props to her for not letting the mental distractions get to her. I don't mean to disrespect Paige but I think shes been overhyped due to her looks which make her very marketable.
Yeah, someone broke into her house or something and killed her Cat? That's pretty messed up. I hadn't even heard of Paige Van Zant before Sunday, so I can't comment on her hype. I rarely watch UFC. From what I observed on Sunday, I have great respect for both fighters.
I’m not entirely sure Van Zant has much of a hype train anymore. I think she’s still popular because she’s pretty, but I don’t think many people rate her all that highly as a fighter. That being said, props to get for fighting on with a broken arm. And Clark for coming in focused despite her personal life. If someone broke into my place and killed a pet, I would be more interested in recreating John Wick than fighting.
She broke her arm cleanly in the first round. She made it competitive with one hand. You can't grapple with a broken hand. If PVZ hadn't broken her arm shed have put a clinic on.

Paige VanZant: My parents threatened to disown me when they saw my last weight cut Yes its her first fight at this weight class, no wonder she was out powered, especially as she broke her own arm in the First Rd.
