Longer Editing Window Please.

The current window is 5 minutes. After you post, at the bottom left of the post you'll see your username, the time it was posted, an edit link, and a report link.

I'm not sure, but maybe it won't display if you load the page after the window expires.

EDIT: 25 minutes later can still edit. Will check again in an hour or so.

EDIT 2: Over an hour now--should be good to go.

 

Dont try and pass your services shoddy coding onto me. XP

The only thing i get wrong when the rest of the code is right, is usually a semi colin, which takes ages to find, you go through the 5 stages of Grief before you find it.

(Kudos to anyone who has done programming and knows what i mean)


It is 5 minuets and if those expire before you hit the post button it will not edit, same with if you refresh the button will disappear.

 

I don't know if I have 100 minutes, but I am able to edit that post (which was now 10 min ago), so my window has certainly increased. I can come back in a while and see if I can still edit.

 

I dont think you understand how much i want to remove or move a semi-colin in some important piece of code for you now. XD

That's great news, but I would prefer an option to edit the next day.

I often post late at night when I can't sleep, so I'm usually pretty tired. Or intoxicated if I'm posting from a bar. This happened quite a bit on my recent deployment, when I would usually go out drinking after martial arts training in foriegn ports.

It would be nice to edit an error the morning after such an evening. On the other hand, maybe I just need to make better life choices...
