This will be the busiest I've ever been competitively. One Judo competition next week, a BJJ interclub in Newcastle, and a K-1 fight in November. I originally planned on just trying to win via ippon or points in Judo, but my main instructor has just told me if I can submit them or pin them then I absolutely should. So I might end up winning my first judo competition. Fingers crossed. The BJJ interclub is gi, no-gi and wrestling. Super cheap. I'll probably put in for giving and wrestling. I don't really like no-gi that much. As for the future it will be in a cage, full K-1 rules. I'm just a little unsure about glove size. Apparently it will be 8 or 10oz gloves. That would be a cool experience. Anyway, just thought I'd let you guys know.
Wow! You're trying to be like Mike Tyson in his first two years as a pro, are you? I hope it's not too much in two months, but either way, I got serious respect for you, man. I really do. [bowing smilie goes here]
Sounds fun! If I was in a similar situation I would mentally frame each comp as a training exercise. With the goal of the training cycle to recover between maximum effort sparring sessions (the comp).
Cheers man. I'm not that worried about them tbh. Should be easy enough to do all three. Two years ago one of my team mates competedo like 50 times in the year. That's pushing it is think
