The full 50!!! Only managed to get past the opening credits, of the 1st episode, before the family came storming in and confiscated the TV remote though Travess
Been watching reruns of classic X-Files on Amazon. Halfway through season 7. It's a show that never gets tiresome.
In the first 20mins of Ep1. and every reason why I gave up on Chinese TV shows turns up. Poor acting, FX, camerawork.... this, this is going to be a mission.
I watched Game of Thrones Spoiler: a minor spoiler What was with the Ed Sheeran scene? seemed pretty pointless, but to meet someones needs as to have him in Game of Thrones
Just about to point my face at Season 2 of Shooter, which the return of almost snuck by me - Here's hoping that it lives up to season 1, which I really enjoyed... Travess
I really liked the first season, and was pleasantly surprised when the banner for the second popped up on my Netflix. I'll be eyeballing that just as soon as I can. In the meanwhile I'm watching old skool 'Doctor Who', by old skool I, of course, mean Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant era... I haven't watched them since they were broadcast on the BBC, and I'm sad to say that most of the Eccleston episodes haven't stood the test of time, at least for me. They seem more dated than episodes from the 80's. I am, however, more than happy to report that, so far, Tennant episodes seem to be weathering the relentless march of time pretty well - 'The Girl in the Fireplace' still stands up, and is one of my favourite episodes.
I'm halfway through, and enjoying it very much! I was nervous about how season 2 ended. It totally seemed as though the mercenaries were going to be the new villains -- super-villains at that, considering their powers -- for season 3, forcing Liv to become a fighter, and that would be stupid. I would not approve. But -- that's not what happened! The writers totally surprised me by making the mercenaries very likable good-guys, and that angle of the story has made for a delightful season!
Started watching Midnight Texas on SyFy - based on the Novel by the same writer as True Blood. Only the pilot so far, but looks good and follows similar themes as True Blood.
Just got done with 'iZombie' and now I'm pointing my oculars at 'Rick & Morty' season 3. Still as daft and awesome as ever.
Will be pointing my face at "The Defenders" this evening, in the hopes that Marvel/Netflix have regained themselves, following the slight hiccup that was "Iron Fist" Travess
