So I turned on google and hotmail and found all sorts of smatterrings of the following letters on the pages. I run Ubuntu linux Lucid so I am not expecting a virus and it does not affect other sites ie MAP. ᎬᎾᎨᏒ ᎢᏗᎬᏁᏗ ᏗᏟᎶᏍᏔᏅ Any ideas what this is and why its on google.hotmail?? powchoy
Interestingly disappears when I use chromium or Opera. So maybe a problem with my recent mozilla update files. Thanks. Interesting and reasonable logic ;' ). powchoy
Occam's Razor I'd say almost definitely a font issue then, those sites are probably using a font that Firefox can't read properly. You could try rolling back Mozilla, or installing an older version.
There are weird messages written on my wall... A collection of bloody hand prints and something about a "...horrible, painful death you wretched *******..." Should I be worried?

I'm in work now and it's not even showing on the PC here compared to my one at home. I'm using Firefox here and Chrome at home. And yeah, the writing looked evil but I thought that was cool
None of that strange writing on my office computer either... Hmmm wonder if this is the revenge of the gods because I tried to use Tor on the home PC?? powchoy
Ok sorted it out. The upgrade to firefox does not include english as a base language. ??? Had to go to edit, preferences, content, languages and uncheck the universal languages line and add english as my preferred option. Weird as everything else but the buttons was in english by default. Programmers seem to be a breed unto themselves heh heh. powchoy
